Reflections

Jeff is out of town for work and I miss him terribly, so I decided to look through pictures on our computer.  I found pictures from when we met and everything in between.  A little timeline of us :)

I failed

I completely failied my 30 day challenge, and I'm totally okay with that.  There have been a lot of things going on lately and the blog was the last thing on the list for the day and I needed sleep.

This past weekend J & I spent the day Saturday chopping wood for our wood fireplace.  It is a lot of work, but when we are in the middle of an Illinois winter, it is SO worth it.

This coming weekend I'm head to Chicago for a wedding and getting to spend time with my pseudo-nephew & niece, Noah & Ruby.  Ruby is just a few weeks old and I can't wait to meet her and give her lots of love from her Central Illinois Family! 

Tomorrow the hubs is leaving for another work trip- boo- he started a new job just after our wedding and it involves travel which is good for him, but I am not a huge fan.  After he gets back it's spring time which means fertilizer application.  He'll be working lots of extra hours and I'm sure our time together will be drastically cut, but this summer things should calm down for him. 

A little behind...

Day 04- A habit that you wish you didn’t have:  Sugar.  I love my sweets and that is no lie!  One day I will overcome this habit :)

Day 02- The meaning behind your Blog name

Well there isn't much behind the blog name.  Only that I think that all people are destined to do something incredible with their life at some point.  So since I recently became an Iverson, the Incredible Iverson's was born.  I know that Jeff and I are just typical people, but at some point and it may have been in the past we have done something that is either incredible to us or in someone else's eyes.  So..the Incredible Iverson's it is :)

Start of the 30 day challenge

Day 01- A recent picture of you and 15 interesting facts about yourself

1. I am the only Granddaughter on my dad's side of the family- there are 5 grandsons.

2.  Almost 7 months ago I married my high school sweetheart after almost 7 years of dating.

3. Jeff & I have an English Mastiff, Kuba, that lives inside.

4.  In High School, I was a competitive powerlifter and finished 2nd in the nation.

5.  I have 2 nephews and 2 nieces and another nice on the way. (1 nephew and 1 niece are not technically that :))

6.  I have been involved with 4-H for a vast majority of my life.  I was a member for 12 years and now I plan the county fair.

7. I commute 80+ miles a day to work.

8.  My favorite vacation spot is Jamaica (hopefully we are headed back there in 2012!)

9.  I LOVE Dr. Seuss books- our minister even incorporated this into our wedding ceremony, it was amazing.

10.  Some day I hope to have a home in the country and raise our future children there

11.  I absolutely LOVE to cook and bake.

12.  I love to travel and hope to do more in the near future.

13.  I have had some of the same friends since we were in preschool.

14.  I will participate in pretty much any sport if invited to do so.

15.  I worked at a gymnastics facility for almost 3 years and have great respect for all of the athletes for all of their time and dedication.

I can wish right...

Well since my camera charger has disappeared...I'm going to make a wish list tonight.... I would love to have any of the following:


1. A Cannon DSLR camera.  We won't be getting one anytime soon because they are pricey, but I love my mom's and use it when I can!

2.  Instead of being in Illinois, I'd rather be here:




 Negril, Jamaica at the Couples resort.  We spent a week there for our Honeymoon and LOVED! it.  We will be

there again, there is no doubt in my life.


3.  Have an unlimited bank account...HAHAH!!!

4.  Have money to go buy a bunch of new work clothes.

5.  Not have to drive 45 minutes each way to work (which is now costing about $75 a week____UGH!!!)


6.  Be happy with myself and cherish every moment.  Recently, I've been reflecting on how things are working
o

out, and I'm realizing- I stress out way to much about stupid things.  My goal is to relax and not worry about

anything thatdoesn't have to do with me!

This past week has been filled with lots of events!

Monday night I went by my old place of employment to visit and use the fax machine.  I had some documents that had to be submitted by Tuesday afternoon so I sent them on Monday evening.  When I got home Jeff was headed out the door for the Fire Meeting and didn't get home until late.

Tuesday we both worked all day and when we got home Jeff said he wasn't feeling the greatest.  He hasn't been feeling great since he got home from Tennessee.

Wednesday night I went out to dinner with a great friend Bridget.  It was so nice to be able to go out and relax and just talk about what was going on with life.

Thursday, we had our tax appointment.  All I want to say is it didn't go like we thought it would.  After the appointment Jeff & I both came home and fell asleep- neither of us were feeling well.

Friday night Jeff and I met up with Bridget and Kelsie and went to the Prairie Thunder Hockey game.  We had fun, but unfortunately, Jeff was still not feeling well at all.  After the game the girls and I went to dinner but Jeff headed home.  While we were out to dinner we talked a lot and ended up not leaving the restaurant until after 10pm.

Yesterday- Jeff didn't move from the couch.  I'm not sure if he's got just a bad cold or what but he's been coughing and doesn't look like he feels good.  I just cleaned the house and tried to be quiet so he could rest.

Today neither of us are doing anything- we've both taken a few naps.  He's playing Xbox and I'm making cookies.

I've come to the conclusion that our camera charger is gone.  I've gone through everything and looked everywhere and Cannot find it for the life of me.  Not very happy- guess I"ll be looking on e-bay for one soon.  The next few weeks for us look just as busy as the last....never a dull moment with us!
