3 weeks

As I write this, I cannot believe that our baby girl has been here for 3 weeks.  The last 3 weeks have been nothing short of amazing!  It just feels so right to have Blair in our lives.  We have had lots of snuggle time and are learning as we go.

Blair:

-is a great sleeper!  Praise the Lord :)  She wakes about every 2.5-3 hours during the night to eat and then is quickly asleep again.
-is starting to like baths more- she loves to get her hair washed.
-very alert when she is awake and looking all around her
-loves to snuggle in to Daddy's chest and crash.  It's one of the sweetest things ever!!!
-isn't phased by Kuba barking when people arrive at our house
-Finally has gotten to meet all of her grandparents
-Loved more than anything in the world


We got newborn photos taken last week and should have them later today or this weekend.  I'm excited to see them- I've seen one and I love it!

We've also been to the doctor 3 times so far- all for weight checks.  She was born at 6 lbs. 8 oz. and came home at 5 lbs. 12 oz.  The lowest she got was 5 lbs. 10 oz.  After about 7 days she was up to 6 lbs. 7 oz. and gaining.  We have been making sure she eats regularly and if I step on the scale with her it says she is around 7.5 lbs!  Hopefully she is- we have her 1 month well check coming up soon.

She is still in newborn clothes, and I think she will be for awhile longer.  She still swims in some of them, but premie clothing is just a tad to small.  She has gotten lots of valentine's day outfits and has been wearing them often.  One of her favorite times of the day is getting her jammies on and snuggling with mommy or daddy before bedtime.
