Football days...

Yesterday morning, I went and watched Levi play football.  He is a quick little guy and tough as they come!  Reminds me of my days with the RHS Football team and all of our great memories.  Here are some pics of Levi- #38.

Catching up..

I haven't blogged in a long time so here's a catch up of our lives the last few months...

July 25th Jeff & I gained a niece: Aubrey Elizabeth was welcomed by Neil, Kelli, and Big Sis Mady:

In August my busy season at work kept me very busy!  I worked over 100 hours in 6 days and was completely exhausted.  After the fair Jeff took me on a surprise trip for our anniversary and birthdays.  I didn't know where we were going until the day we were leaving and we went to LAS VEGAS!  We had a great time and wouldn't mind going back for a few days again in the future.

We took a trip to the Hoover Dam.  I"m so glad we did it was really incredible to see!

The last day we visited Madam Tousous (sp?) Wax museum.  It was pretty neat to see- and see how short I am compared to Shaq- I didn't even reach the bottom of his number!

When we got home we celebrated our 1 year anniversary.  It's so hard to believe it's been a year already. A year ago August 21, this is what we were doing:

I have failed at ....

I have failed at Blogging lately.  Jeff & I have both been really busy and it doesn't look like it's slowing down anytime soon.  Our busy-ness started Easter weekend.  We had planned on going to my parents the day before Easter for my cousin Dan & Darby's couples shower.  Unfortunately, Jeff ending up working so he wasn't able to go.  I stayed with my parents that night and then attend church with them.  We had a great brunch after church followed by an Easter Egg Hunt.

The week after Easter I was back at my parents house.  Friday night I went over to their house after work and had dinner with my grandma, Great Aunt Martha, Neil, Kelli, Mady, Sid, and my mom.  I loved being able to spend time with Grandma and Martha, I miss them so much!  The next morning Kelli, Mady, Jena, Dianna, My mom, and I left for Pfoff girls weekend in St. Louis.  We went shopping at the Galleria downtown, and at the Mills.  We had a great time and were all exhausted when we got back on Sunday.

This week has been busy as the rains have finally subsided and Jeff has been working a lot trying to catch up in the fields.  He has been working late every night.  Friday it was gorgeous outside so I took a 1/2 day of vacation.  I met my friend Bridget for lunch and then headed home to do some things around the house.

Today, I am finishing up projects around the house and relaxing before I head back to work.  Next weekend I'm excited for because Bridget and Kelsie are coming up to our house and we are headed to the Lee Brice concert.  It will be so fun to have a girls night...wish Kateri was going to be there :(.  We will have a great time I'm sure!

The last few weeks

The last few weeks Jeff & I have been really busy.  He was out of town for one week and I was out of town the weekend he got home.  Now we are into one of his busy seasons at work...fertilizer season.  My busy season will be all summer while his is slower.  Some pictures of the last few weeks.

Last weekend I spent the weekend with my great friend, Jen and her son N. & daughter R.  R is only 3 weeks old and a complete doll!  I spent the weekend with her to be 'nanny' while she helped and was in her brother's wedding.  Some pictures from the weekend:

Reflections

Jeff is out of town for work and I miss him terribly, so I decided to look through pictures on our computer.  I found pictures from when we met and everything in between.  A little timeline of us :)

I failed

I completely failied my 30 day challenge, and I'm totally okay with that.  There have been a lot of things going on lately and the blog was the last thing on the list for the day and I needed sleep.

This past weekend J & I spent the day Saturday chopping wood for our wood fireplace.  It is a lot of work, but when we are in the middle of an Illinois winter, it is SO worth it.

This coming weekend I'm head to Chicago for a wedding and getting to spend time with my pseudo-nephew & niece, Noah & Ruby.  Ruby is just a few weeks old and I can't wait to meet her and give her lots of love from her Central Illinois Family! 

Tomorrow the hubs is leaving for another work trip- boo- he started a new job just after our wedding and it involves travel which is good for him, but I am not a huge fan.  After he gets back it's spring time which means fertilizer application.  He'll be working lots of extra hours and I'm sure our time together will be drastically cut, but this summer things should calm down for him.
